Ganpati Oil Private Limited had originally been started by the Bhind based
Agrawal Family who were traditional traders of Mustard Oil and other food grains
and products.
First processing unit for Mustard Oil established at Galla Mandi (Centre of
Bhind) dist. Bhind, M.P. in parental premises.
Established a Brand ?Do Gulab? which reached down in the rural belts in
Madhya Pradesh and Mustard Oil became synonymous with the above brand
name.
The unit proved profitable and surpassed its own estimates.
An enhanced capacity Oil Mill (1560 MT) was established at Village Deenpura,
Dist Bhind and the Company also opened Branch Offices at Etawah and Gwalior.
The Company also started focusing on its retail sale by establishing a bigger
distributors? network to support its objective of becoming a FMCG style
company.
Keeping in line with its vision of becoming a multi-product FMCG concern, the
Company procured the Eminence (India) Limited, a Flour Mill, situated at
Malanpur Industrial Area, Dist Bhind under reference of its own Banker, I.e. the
State Bank of India. With this procurement, the Company added Maida, Atta,
Suji, Rawa also to its bucket of Products offered to the Customers under the
Brand name of ?Do Gulab?. The installed capacity of the Flour Plant at that time
was 6750 MT (PA).
With growing Turnover and strong promoters? vision, the Company was
converted from Private Limited into Public Limited under the name of ?Ganpati
Oil & Foods Limited?.
The production capacity was increased upto 28800 MT (PA) and the company
also established Chakki Atta Plant for 10800 MT (PA).
The production capacity of the Mustard Oil Plant was increased from 1560 MT
(PA) to 1860 MT (PA).
Changing weather conditions always changed the crop of the area and keeping in
mind the fact and the future vision to obtained export growth and widely
accepted sesame seed of the area all over the world as best variety Company
established its diversified plant at centre of sesame seed growing area for
cleaning and grading of Sesame seed with imported machinery of color sorting to
give best output for export.
The retail sector in India was witnessing a huge revamp as traditional markets
make way for new formats such as departmental stores, hypermarkets,
supermarkets and specially formed stores. Western style malls had already
begun appearing in metros and second-rung cities and introducing the Indian
consumer to a shopping experience like never before. India?s vast middle class
and its almost untapped retail industry were key attractions for global retail
giants wanting to enter newer markets. In the year 2006, seeing the retail sector
boom in India and to en-cash the popularity of the sector and future aspects of
the retail sector, we decided to open a retail chain stores specially designed for
cities like Gwalior under the name & style of ?MORE 4 LESS?. Initially the
Company opened its one retail store which is currently reached at seven.
To commensurate with the future necessities, the company adopted the ERP
based software for the proper recording and account activities so that a true and
fair view of the financials of the Company could be revealed.
2008
The Company installed PLC CONTROL SYSTEM for cost effectiveness by reducing
human involvement and to enhanced working ability of existing plant and
minimized human controls and errors.
The ISO 9001-2008 Certification was obtained by the Company for its pursuit of
excellence system and is in compliances of the ISO Audit Guidelines and
specifications.
