The Company was established in the year 1997 as a kachchi ghani Mustard Oil Manufacturing Unit. The unit made good progress & even surpassed its own estimates in every year of operations. Initially, the Company established its Unit at Galla Mandi, mid of the city Bhind in its own premises in the year 1998, but seeing the tremendous growth of the Unit, management decided to shift the unit to a new location outside the city. In the year 2001, Company opened a Branch Office at Etawah (UP) and in the year 2003 at Gwalior.

Earlier the Company was incorporated as a Private Limited Company which was later made into Limited Company in the year 2004. Ganpati Oil & Foods Ltd. (GOFL) has established an impressive track record with in a short period of 8 years since its inception in 1997. The promoters decided to shift the above Unit from Galla Mandi to nearby Village Deenpura situated on National Highway No 92, Bhind-Etawah Road.

In Jan 2001, promoters acquire a piece of land at Gram Deenpura and reestablished its Plant along with the expansion of capacity and modernization/automisation of plant.
